Scotland is world-famous for its winter snow and ice-climbing. Ben Nevis and Glencoe attract climbers from across the globe. Classic routes like Tower Ridge, The Aonoch Eagach traverse or Curved Ridge are within your reach when you climb with us.


Feel the excitement as you head up into an ice-filled gully with one of our experienced climbing guides. Enjoy the winter climbing experience and learn as you climb. Your guide will introduce you to new techniques, coach your movement skills and share their in depth knowledge, accumulated over many years in the mountains.


Choose from Guided Snow and Ice-Climbing days or specific Instruction and Coaching.

We will design a bespoke day to suit you and give you all the skills that you need to continue your journey as a winter climber.

Pricing - Winter Climbing:

£250 per day

For hillwalkers who want to tackle more technical mountainous terrain, we can teach you the essential skills to continue your winter journey.

Skills covered will include: advanced ice-axe and crampon use, building snow-and-ice anchors, simple emergency rope-skills, avalanche awareness, safe route choice.

Climbers come to us for many different reasons and wherever you are on your winter climbing journey, we have the skills and knowledge to help you progress and succeed.

We provide new climbers with the basic skills and knowledge that they require to step out safely on their first winter climbs.

We offer coaching days for climbers who are already leading easier routes (up to Scottish Grade 3). We look at your climbing and coach everything we see: Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological. These are the four cornerstones of climbing performance and each is essential for making solid, lasting improvements.


We can help with your movement skills, technical ropework, winter-gear placement, avalanche awareness and safe route choice, whist providing advice and guidance for your head game.
